I always knew Zack and turkeys had something to do with each other! Sounds like the you heading otwards your goal incrementally -- hopefully thenext time you head out in the woods and are in the blind you'll spot the Toms you are seeking.

Yesterday was a pretty simple day in the world of turkey hunting. We had just gotten new calls and we spent a good portion of our time practicing those. Turns out, they are significantly harder to master than one might think, event the ones that you don't have to make with your voice. We got two kinds of calls: a push/pull call and a box call. The push/pull call is easy to use, you just push on the lever and vary the speed at which you move it to vary the call. The box call is a little harder. It consists of two pieces and the angle, speed, direction and intensity of the way you hit them together can combine to create a myriad of different calls. It's actually pretty difficult to master. If you screw up once the turkey will know somethings off and run away. Zackariah has emerged as a master of turkey calling. Right now we're still all practicing together, but he's set to be our call expert
