Day 5

Today was the same as the other days,  we learned that next week we should be starting to learn how to prepare food and cook in the back however on Monday they would need more people to work up front so Adam Berry and I volunteered as we have the ap test in the morning.  Everything was the same today, except I tried to be a host.  It was not hard, however it is slightly difficult to handle the guests who only want it there way.  I learned just how confusing being a host can be and how important it really is.  There is a computer with a layout of all the seats.  When a customer walks in you have to find a table that they would sit at and make sure to mark is as taken.  If someone calls then you have to fiddle with the computer until the reservation is set.  The best part is when a customer wants to sit in the patio but there are no seats available. They just stand outside waiting for you to do something.  however, it was good to learn how the computer works and just how confusing it can get at lunch time.
