Day 2 began with our first true dive into photography on our own. Ryan, and I selected the Zoo as a prime location to spend the day practicing our photography. After driving down together, we entered the Zoo, prepped with our monopods and cameras, ready to take pictures all day. The pictures began with Kangaroos. The shots we got were great because there was no fence blocking our view and the Kangaroos seemed to be posing for us. One was laying on his side like a model and the other in our sight was walking around. Soon after both laid the same way for a perfect picture. After, we made our way up to the primate exhibit. There we got magnificent shots of a gorilla, and also a pair of cheetahs. Here is a picture of the two cheetahs posing together for a magnificent shot.

We then entered the interior of the primate exhibit to see a bunch of different species, however we struggled to get great shots through the glass. We then proceeded to the koala exhibit, which was the best photography we came across almost all week. The animals were inside, but had no barrier separating the camera and the animal. This picture was my favorite shot of all week.
I will continue my work on this shot with the aid of photoshop to see how I can enhance the message of the picture.
Great shooting and keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to seeing what other locations you guys choose for your photography. A rural setting could offer some nice shots.
