Last Tuesday, Cleveland Yoga opened the doors to their brand new second location in "Uptown". This new space is located above Barnes & Noble on Euclid Ave. across the street from Cleveland's Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).

We hope to take a trip down to see the new studio some time this week after all the stress and chaos of opening has died down. From seeing pictures and hearing from teachers who are on the schedule, I get the sense that this new studio has a more metropolitan, city vibe than does their main location in Beachwood.
I talked to some of the staff about the process of opening this new space from a business perspective and they said that their primary concern in choosing a location was what type of client base they were aiming for. They ultimately settled on the University Circle location because of its proximity to University Hospitals, the Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University and the Little Italy and Cleveland Heights neighborhoods, meaning that it would attract a new and different sort of client base than Beachwood does: that of doctors, nurses, hospital staff, college students and young professionals from the area.
